Equipped with the right applications, a computer can be of great help in virtually any domain of activity. When it comes to designing and precision, no other tool is as accurate as a computer. Moreover, specialized applications such as AutoCAD give you the possibility to design nearly anything ranging from art, to complex mechanical parts or even buildings.
Suitable for business environments and experienced users
After a decent amount of time spent installing the application on your system, you are ready to fire it up. Thanks to the office suite like interface, all of its features are cleverly organized in categories. At a first look, it looks easy enough to use, but the abundance of features it comes equipped with leaves room for second thoughts.
Create 2D and 3D objects
You can make use of basic geometrical shapes to define your objects, as well as draw custom ones. Needless to say that you can take advantage of a multitude of tools that aim to enhance precision. A grid can be enabled so that you can easily snap elements, as well as adding anchor points to fully customize shapes.
With a little imagination and patience on your behalf, nearly anything can be achieved. Available tools allow you to create 3D objects from scratch and have them fully enhanced with high-quality textures. A powerful navigation pane is put at your disposal so that you can carefully position the camera to get a clearer view of the area of interest.
Various export possibilities
Similar to a modern web browser, each project is displayed in its own tab. This comes in handy, especially for comparison views. Moreover, layouts and layers also play important roles, as it makes objects handling a little easier.
Sine the application is not the easiest to carry around, requiring a slightly sophisticated machine to properly run, there are several export options put at your disposal so that the projects itself can be moved around.
Aside from the application specific format, you can save as an image file of multiple types, PDF, FBX and a few more. Additionally, it can be sent via email, directly printed out on a sheet of paper, or even sent to a 3D printing service, if available.
To end with
All in all, AutoCAD remains one of the top applications used by professionals to achieve great precision with projects of nearly any type. It encourages usage with incredible offers for student licenses so you get acquainted with its abundance of features early on. A lot can be said about what it can and can't do, but the true surprise lies in discovering it step-by-step.

The digital sheet, is the basic element in AutoCAD Activation Code. As a CAD program, it describes a two-dimensional view of three-dimensional objects and their relationships. It is the primary mechanism for creating 2D graphics on-screen.
AutoCAD contains an extensive library of drawing objects, including lines, circles, squares, triangles, lines, circles, arcs, 2D and 3D text, dimensions, text and text boxes, symbols, and shapes. CAD files created with AutoCAD can be saved in a number of file formats, including DXF, DWG, and DWF. A file saved in these formats can be opened in any other CAD program.
The current version of AutoCAD (2016) supports the following files:
File format Name of File Extension Size of File Compatibility Notes DXF – Drawing Exchange Format (1997) 1.1 MB DWG – Drawing (1999) 3.1 MB 1.9 MB
Also available in AutoCAD:
AutoCAD Design Web Server (AutoCAD Web Server is a network service that offers Web-based interfaces for AutoCAD), is the best known and most widely used web app for AutoCAD. It provides both 2D and 3D web views of CAD drawings, as well as the ability to publish and view AutoCAD PDF documents from the Web. It includes a toolbar and menu bar that can be customized.
AutoCAD Architecture – AutoCAD Architecture allows you to import and link AutoCAD DWG or PDF files or to create a new Drawing project from scratch. It supports importing from a wide range of file formats including DXF, DWG, DWF, JPG, TIF, PNG, HDR, TIFF, PDF, and SVG.
AutoCAD Map – AutoCAD Map is a tool that works with other AutoCAD tools, such as the Measure, Model, and Analyze tools. When you open AutoCAD Map, the program appears as a layer in the active drawing. With the Measure, Model, and Analyze tools, you can identify geographic features on the map to create a model of the selected area. The features are automatically imported into the model, and a virtual representation of the area is

There are a number of third-party extensions, or Autodesk Exchange Apps, available on the Autodesk Exchange Appstore; Autodesk Exchange Apps are available for WebApp (online), mobile (Android, iOS), WinMobile, Android, iOS, MacOS, and Windows.
AutoCAD produces machine code for running in CAD-specific and third-party applications (VBA and.NET).
Autodesk made a new SDK for developers, creating an App SDK for its own apps and the extension SDK for other third-party apps on Windows, Mac, and Linux. This enables developers to add functionality to other applications.
AutoCAD can load.xlam files on Windows,.xlamx files on Mac and.xll files on Linux. These files allow the user to control AutoCAD from a different program, such as Microsoft Excel.
AutoCAD is also the scripting language used in third-party extensions for AutoCAD.
AutoCAD is also available in Amazon’s Cloud services as a Web Service.

Resize ScrollView to fill entire Android Screen
I’m new to Android and I am trying to create a simple app that will take the entire screen.
I have a ScrollView with just an image. I want the scrollview to scroll horizontally, and the entire image to be the width of the screen.
The only way I’ve found is to manually set the width of the ScrollView, but this just gives a very small portion of the screen.
You can set the Width of the ScrollView to fill the screen by doing the following:
//Set ScrollView Width and Height
ScrollView sv = (ScrollView) findViewById(R.id.sv);
sv.setLayoutParams(new LayoutParams(ViewGroup.LayoutParams.MATCH_PARENT, ViewGroup.LayoutParams.MATCH_PARENT));
//Determine the Width and Height of the screen
Display display = getWindowManager().getDefaultDisplay();
Point size = new Point();
float width = size.x;
//Set ScrollView Width to Fill Screen
A webcomic worth taking a look at: Shield Maiden. It’s about a girl who’s been trained since birth to be a Shield Maiden. And now, as a young adult, she’s been sent to live in the mines, there to protect an Earth-like planet from the chaos of wars and monsters. I’ve only read one page so far, but it’s a great read. The characters are really likeable, and the whole story just seems really well thought out. There’s a lot of action in the first page, and it’s all very dynamic.
Here’s the first page:
I found out about this through my brother’s blog, ogoftheday, and now I’m glad I took the time to read it.FOUNDED IN 1975, BOTOND® INSPIRES CREATIVITY. What’s New in the?
Enhance your experience with RealTime, a new drawing tool that provides a live preview of your work on the fly, right in the drawing window.
Automatic 2D/3D Conversion
With AutoCAD 2023, you can easily switch between 2D and 3D projects, and AutoCAD takes the strain of keeping your drawings consistent with your designs. You can even convert a 2D drawing to 3D and vice versa, at any time.
This new feature uses 3D to move objects around your drawing workspace without taking up additional space, and it’s available from the Navigate menu or from any command that can select an object, such as the Move object tool. You can move the view to a specific position, change the view angle, or zoom in on an object, without any additional steps. (video: 1:31 min.)
Markups for 2D and 3D:
Use project-specific markups—which are applied to both 2D and 3D objects—to annotate, tag, and route your designs.
Display details of specific drawing elements, such as nets, lines, and text, right on the drawing canvas. The new annotations include Dynamic Text, which generates a live text output for each annotation. (video: 1:10 min.)
Communicate more effectively with clients, vendors, and designers. Efficiently access the CAD documentation you need, including 3D models. Designers can view your detailed model annotations and can manage drawings and annotations from one central location.
Create Shapes and Lines with the Geometry Editing Toolbox
A new geometry editing toolbox simplifies common drawing tasks, such as editing shapes and lines. You can edit the dimensions of 2D and 3D shapes, automatically convert a shape into lines, and use more convenient tools for editing, such as the PENTAX-specific shape tools.
PIVOT: The Draw Graphics Once tool is more flexible than ever. You can use it to rotate and transform a part of a drawing into another view, then export that new view as a graphics image or symbol file, instead of having to export the full drawing and re-import.
New Smart Lists simplify how you work in your drawings. You can sort objects by their properties, and view a list of multiple objects in one column. You can also automatically create Smart Lists based on your current selection.
